School of Natural Medicine offers cutting edge world class Iridology Study Materials, seminars, iris photography, iridology consultations and a yearly August Summer School by the internationally renowned Iridology teacher, author and practitioner, Dr. Farida Sharan, ND, MH, MIr, MDMA. FARIDA SHARAN ND, MIr, MH, FGNI, FBRI, Iridology Practitioner/Educator Trained by Dr. Raymond Christopher in 1976 in the USA, she moved to England in 1977 where she played a major role in the rising tide of alternative and complementary medicine.

During her 12 years in England she founded the British School of Iridology, Iridology Research, Wholistic Research Company, Herbs of Grace Herbal Pharmacy and the British Register of Iridologists, which is still the premier UK Iridology Register. She sponsored the first UK Iridology conferences, bringing Dr. Raymond Christopher, Dr. Bernard Jensen, Harri Wolf, Willy Hauser, Dorothy Hall and Denny Johnson for their first visits to England. For the first time, due to her efforts, all the major world teachers were exposed to each other's work. She also visited Joseph Deck and Willy Hauser in Germany.

The School of Natural Medicine has been centered in Boulder, Colorado since 1988. The Boulder SNM office and teaching facility offers a yearly two-week Summer School, Iridology consultations, Iris photography, seminars, apprenticeship, clinical training. Farida mentors students closely and offers newsletters, including email case histories with Iridology photo attachments.

Farida presented her unique synthesis of holistic world class iridology, "Transformational Iridology", in May 2000 London at Regents College; July 2001 in Reykjavik , Iceland; March 2002 at the Integrated Iridology Conference in Sydney Australia, June 2002 at the International Iridology Expo sponsored by Jensen International and October 2002 at the American College of Iridology in Cincinnati.

Farida travels internationally, giving iridology training seminars in South Africa, Canada, Malaysia, India, Australia, Iceland, the U.K. and India, as well as throughout the United States.

IRIDOLOGY NATUROPATHIC IRIDOLOGIST PRACTITIONER:
After studying with Dr. Raymond Christopher, in the USA, Farida moved to Cambridge, England, where her practice flourished due to her unique three hour combined consultations and treatment sessions. A unique combination of in-depth case taking, herbal foot baths, baths, poultices, reflexology, iridology analysis, individually mixed herbal formulas and shiatsu, polarity and massage treatments created in depth-healing. As satisfied clients recommend others, and a successful practice was assured.

Invited to join a medical practice in Kensington by Dr. Shirley Bond, M.D., Farida traveled to London every week for several years to work with women suffering from reproductive diseases and infertility. "I never knew such tissue changes were possible," reported Dr. Bond. This experience provided the foundation of Farida's books, Creative Menopause and Herbs of Grace.

During this time she also received many referrals from the Gerson Cancer Clinic and the Bristol Cancer Center, and worked with clients referred by medical doctors, with astounding documented results.

IRIDOLOGY & NATURAL MEDICINE STUDY MATERIALS
The Iridology course is a synthesis of a complete system of natural medicine that combines individual herbal formulas, herbal treatments, naturopathy treatments, nutrition, purification, regeneration, flower essences, energy balancing and life counseling. Iridology is used to determine the inner ecology and guide an individual treatment program to restore balanced health.

Our study program provides students with a strong foundation that complements their life experience and supports future studies. The assignments are creative research projects that inspire each student to develop a holistic approach to guiding clients toward health and healing. This approach has proven successful for over 25 years by hundreds of students, graduates and clients all over the world.

IRIDOLOGY TRAININGS & IRIS MANDALAS
An important part of our Iridology Trainings are the sharing of each student¹s iridology analysis of their constitutional inner ecology and individualized treatment plans that allow true and lasting healing, along with their testimonials. Herbal formulas and treatments are integrated during their mentored Self Healing Module. We support students to become independently healthy as they learn to do the same for others! This is the essence of integrity ­ the graduate as a living example of the truth of the teachings and the proof of their efforts.

After the symbolic language of the interior world is been introduced with slides and transparences, each student receives an iris analysis from their color iris slides and a personal healing program. Students also learn from each other's readings. Each student creates their iris Mandala made from felt cloth, photos, and other materials to facilitate understanding and elevate learning to joyful enthusiasm.

The teaching approach is multi-dimensional. Iridology slides, images, instruction, kinesthetic movement to musical rhythms, and artistic projects insure that the information is received by all learning modalities of sound, sight and touch - and it is enormous fun!!!

REQUIREMENTS:
Students complement study materials with attendance at Iridology Trainings Level I and Level II. Upon completion of the course the student receives a Certificate. A Master Iridologist diploma is awarded after attendance at required training, completion of study material assignments, case histories and the Self Healing Module.

Each student experiences the power of personal healing with herbs, nutrition and naturopathy treatments to embody the principles of purification, regeneration and transformation.
